I am really interested in this board, but it says supports dual opteron processors, 246 and up, does that mean u have to have a Opteron 246 for it to work with 2 CPU's?

You must have two. It will only support 64 bit AMD cpu's. As more 64 bit cpu's are released it will probably work with all of them as long as MSI keeps its bios's updated. Though there have been mixed results with different cpu's on dual cpu mobo's, I would highly advise using two identical ones.
