Hi all, My surgery went well today, the doctor worked on me for TWO hours, all the upper tendons but my thumb were cut in two. I also cut thru a muscle and blood vesicles too... follow up visit in two weeks, until then no work of any kind and lots of pain pills . Thanks for all the best wishes and please continue to pray for me.

Hi BlackAdder

I didn't know you had surgery, I haven't been around much lately. I'm on vacation now, with limited net access :)

But it's great to hear that you're ok BlackAdder. That's what's important. I'm going to have surgery sometime in the next few months, I'm on waiting list for gall bladder removal. I'll tell you guys when I'm called in, public health system takes time. :)

Eeeeek, that looks nasty! I'm glad all went well and hope you regain all your mobility. That's probably gonna be numb for a while. Best wishes with your recovery my friend. :icon_thumright:

I had similar surgery almost 6 years ago, and RamJet actually right after you have the surgery you regain full feeling no numbness. Yes, I was surprised too. Blackadder will have two weeks till he has the stitches removed. At that time they try and make it quick and as least painful to pull those rascals out. He will be dosing himself with numerous pain pills to numb those finicky sensations that linger. If he responds his words may be misspelled or in the wrong locations, Hey can you share those wonderful mind numbing drugs, Oh he only has enough for himself though?

Blackadder I know your pain but, I have been there. It hurt, it was operated on and for 2 weeks its sore, every move you make is remorseful, trust me it gets better! :blob3:

Wow, I'm a bit behind the times. Looks like a nasty cut whilst shaving your arms.

Amazing what docs can do these days.

I've been away on vacation. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. :-( Hopefully they will get you put back together with as few long term effects as possible. Take care there!!!
