i have joined seti - BOINC version and have got the new version. i will let that run for tonight then focus on the other project i mentioned earlier. since joining i just wanna get some stats on the board and check it work properly, so if we swap there i am all fired up and can just click go.
i will re-try pirates now and see if that works.

earlier i tried DNET (RS5) but it didnt seem to like my machine and i wasnt able to input my name as Empty_5oul anywhere or AMD Users as my team, if someone could explain how to do this ill give it another go.

Empty

first you register using your email address,
you will get an email from the project with your user# & a generated password
then change your "nickname"
then go to the results for "amd-users" and click on join.
I found it easier to use my user# for changes in dnet instead of the nickname or email address.

i havent got an e-mail from them tho, usually the process is automated and therefore you get a mail straight away. this didnt happen so i left it 10 ish hours then postedon here to see if i was doing somethign wrong.
ill see what happens today then sign up again and make sure i spelt my e-mail correctly, lol :P

i havent got in yet, but the program works on my machine and has reached 60% before i realised it dodnt know who i was or to add my stats to amdusers. so i havent sorted it yet but it is in hand, maybe i will get roudn to mailing them like DMMc said to.

I've got a giggly bite of 400 (2 * 512) and my new mobo beeps twice on start up.

if it doesnt start 2 or 3 beeps depending on the motherboard emans memory failure.
my mobo is suppose to take 400 in 2 slots so i couldnt understnad why only having one in wouldnt boot, when i put the 2 back together and in they were fine but both individually neither liked it :S

Yes, I know 2 beeps means memory error, but if that is so, why does the system run so well :?:

The system is fine... The 2 beeps are there to remind you that I still need my AMD.

Yea Stu... Why that MoBo. What you need is a MoBo that will take an Intel chip.
