Anyone here follows good old football/soccer? :)

The World Cup started today with a 1-1 tie on the first match between South Africa and Mexico. There are already other matches ongoing that I don't know the results.

I'm waiting to see my country on it, Portugal plays its first match on the 15th against Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast?).

There are some countries I didn't expect to reach the final phase, like Honduras, Japan, and Algeria, but we got to watch out for them, sometimes it's the newcomers that give the best show.

Yes me somntimes!

I think you as is born i Portugal and always is used our country hawe had good players and me from Sweden as is used to watch the swedes playing. But this time they are out of play in this game. I few players have stopped play for our Landslaget and other feel they are too old. We have to begin build a new team.

Did you know FIDO is married with a Swedeich woman?

I am in US central time, which is GMT-6. I think I have 7 hours difference to South Africa, where the world cup is being played.
Haven't seen any matches live yet, just been taking a look at the results in the webpages. I have to check what times will they be on here
