WCG launches The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2

They have launched this project for Linux machines and have plans for Windows and Mac. This project currently has some large downloads and uploads and you have to do a manual opt in for this project in your machine profiles. It would be nice to see inexpensive solar brought to the masses :)

That is great news! :) I hope they roll out the Windows and Mac apps soon, as well as making it open instead of opt in.

I know Nflight would also be very happy to see inexpensive solar power brought to the masses, wouldn't you Nflight? :icon_wink: :icon_lol:

I think what he meant by opt in, was that it wasn't selected automatically when it went live, which is good if it uses a lot of bandwidth.

as far as the "inexpensive solar power brought to the masses" part, I personally could use "masses of inexpensive solar power" in order to run my ever-growing farm.
