Hey guys! :)

DynaPing is about to end, and there's only 2 of our team mates that are below the 100K mark, AMDave and sentient_life.

sentient_life is away and unreachable, we never managed to get in contact with him to get his weak account key to help him.

AMDave on the other hand is always here with us, and I am sure it would mean a whole lot for him if we all ganged up together to push him on this last stretch of the remaining 10 days to get him over 100K.

I was initially thinking of doing this secretly to see his reaction to his points suddenly climbing, but the time is very short and he is lacking almost 20K, so I decided to get the word out the fastest way I could!

So, who is with me? Let's help Dave get his 100K before the project shuts down! :)
Anyone who would like to help please post or PM me and I'll send the weak account key. (Or PM him... it'll work too. lol :icon_wink:)

Lets push Dave over the 100K!!:)

I believe he would have to unhide the hosts, then we could all follow along and check the progress of each machine.

Thank you for showing the hosts. It is nice to be able to see how machines compare to the others on the team :). I was surprised to learn my hosts don't do that well on this project compared to most even with a 7mb cable connection. I thought my machines would beat out dads on his slower wireless Internet.

Oh my God... we are going faster than I thought we ever could... according to Free-DC's stats Dave broke Mach 5 speed yesterday!! :) (>5K credits in 1 day)
I think that's a record, I don't think anyone in our Team (or any other team) ever got to 5K in a day on this project!

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE.
That was a huge effort.
That was a tremendous piece of team-work.
You are all champions!

We came first in the farewell competition in the BOINCstats Teams Contest.

And the 'Push for AMDave' effort massively exceeded all expectations, passing bwhite in the early stages and almost overcame Beerknurd's position.
So close, in fact, that we could smell the 'Old Spice'. ha!ha!ha!

Thanks a bundle to NeoGen for co-ordinating all the whos-its and what-its.
As always, NeoGen, you are the accomplished contest go-to-guy.

Thinking back now I only wish I could have thought of the DynaPing push concept a couple months earlier... it could have gotten us a #1 place in the bag. :icon_rolleyes:

Oh well... we didn't get a #1 spot but did an amazing ending and it was quite a ride! Onto the next one!

Hmm... my last DynaPing workunit it still going... Don't know what it's doing since the project is down but I'll leave it running, just in the remote chance that it may get a few more credits.

Your WU will probably finish, but won't be able to connect to their server for validation. It will probably just get hung up in your Boinc upload queue.

Yea, I'm thinking that too... I think it's not even doing the checks on websites anymore, because it needed to contact the server for it.

Congratulations to vaughan, not only for being the #1 on DynaPing (Team and National!), but also because with this he reached double digits on the number of times he was Team Champion... that's right guys, he is now 10x Team Champion, and 5x National Champion in past projects. :)
