its good, i cant see why we dropped that position though. were still very close though and if we keep growing at this steady rate could get as high as 10th fairly quickly.

Yes welcome turion64!

As your name is turion can I guess you have a turion processor or am I wrong?
I´m to far from you. I´m living in Sweden where we today have -2 C. Should you like this temperature? I´s not so cold but that is easy to say for me. I´m awaiting snow and my natives travel to your country for sun and bath. It sounds nice. ;)
Again, dont be afraid to ask us if you have problems regarding to hardware or computing. :!:
Have you tried Majectic12. If you have a fast processor you can get many hundred points. There is only one fault: Your connection may eat Megabytes because the connection between the server and the modem/network is always on.

Once, welcome!
Lagu :)

Hey everyone, joined the team yesterday for WCG. Heres the specs of my system:

AMD Athlon X2 4400+ Oc'ed to 2.4 per core
Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLi Mobo w/ uGuru
1GB (2x512) Cosair Twinx DDR400
XFX 7800 GTX OC x16 Video card
160GB SATA II Seagate Barricuda HD
Dragon Ultra full ATX Ultra glossy black case
ThermalTake 480w PSU verrible speed control
Aerocool HT101jr Cpu cooler with 52cfm fan
Red Led lighting and 5 52cfm case fans on speed control
19" Mitsubishi Diamondpro 930sb CRT

I found out if you click the application button on the WCG GUI it will utilize full 100% of each core. (at least it does on my machiene) Running 32bit windows xp pro sp2. Glad to have joined up and to become a part of the project again. I helped last year for a few months with my old system. (athlon64 3000+)

Thanks for the welcomes! AMD does rule btw

Correction on the "how to get 100% on dual cores" clicking the application button only makes UD.exe start using 50% power form 0%, process WCGrid_rosetta.exe stays 50% no matter what. sry

23hrs runtime so far, 914pts acculmlated. with next batch at 28%

anyone know how to utilize 100% of both cores for the crunching process?

Microsoft Virtual machiene?

I don't have dual cores/hiperthreadeds so I don't know, but can't you put two instances of WCG running at the same time?

My part of the world finally went over -2C for the first time in several weeks yesterday, so -2C sounds very decent to me. The weatherman is predicting temps above freezing for the next few days with a high of almost 45 F, which is a full 50 degrees F warmer than the low we have had so far this winter.

The midwestern United States doesn't get near the snow as Sweden (Thank God), but we can get some horribly cold winters.

You mean our stats page?

There's a small box on the right of the main page with the link to it.
Here's the link: http://stats.amdusers.com/

And in there you got several other links on the top for the active personal pages, the newsletter, the dc-matrix, etc.

Welcome swhite4784 :D

That's a very ballanced setup that you run. The Intel one has to run a little faster to be able to keep up with the AMD's right?
Make yourself at home! Don't hesitate to post if you got any questions, ok? :)
