1.Whats the price on a athlon 64 or a FX??(be it brand new or second hand)
2.Whats the price on MOBOs that supert such procs?

looking at your location being romania i couldnt really sya what the rpcies owuld be for you. they also vary very much, the fx's being about £400-£500. while a 64 3200+ should cost around £100.

The motherboards also range a lot, depending how much you want built on. somthing with 1gig lan, 5/7 channel sound, graphics, USB 2.0 (6/8 ports), firewire == i would expect about £70.

The best being more expensive but the worse being much cheaper.

Hey I cant vote....
But i would and do.
Nothing like getting a box of old ata66 hard drives for backups for dirt cheap.
Also for fixing up old dinosaurs and reselling them to people for beginner use, that way if they dont like it, or f*** it up, they arent out much. Some of that stuff you just cant get anymore..

But in your case Imortel, I would go new, that way if your item is DOA the manufacturer will warranty it.
