DHEP tweak

i have DHEP running well on my machine on IBM java. I am happy with the speeds i am getting but after looking in the settings believe they can be tweaked.
by right lcikcing on the DOS box and selecting properties, under options and command history are some buffer options. I don't understand how they work but put mine down to buffer size 1 and buffers 1 and i think i am slightly quicker. I also tried making it much higher and believe i was slightly slower buffer size 100 and buffers 999
any further knowledge on this ??

I still can't get the IBM java to work.... I just gave up.

The sun Java is just as fast (IMO), as long as you use in "Server" mode. I use sun java and am doing pretty good.

for my machine where i run a veriety of programs it is better in a DOS box - and with that there is a massive difference between sun and IBM java. on the same machine over 2 days i noticed i could do at least 2 more operations per second.
