Stats finally updated, but several members look like missing. I can't find Vaugn's results, for one.

Vaughan's two accounts have been combined, but I think he has lost his team affiliation in the process. It probably just needs a login and join team again. If that doesn't work I can get the admins to fix it.

I don't think it's the firewall. I couldn't get my clients to connect to the eOn server yesterday also.
The downloaded a WU each and completed the wu but could not return them.
I tried several times and re-installed the clients from scratch with the same results.

Now it requests a WU but "cannot connect to server"

I have run eOn on all 3 computers and today I notised we are registred as number 4 owerall. We have stomped US-Distributed. I don´t know what rank we had when 72CJ5 (Brucifer) ??? leaved this project, If we are back to the same rank or if we have got a new higher rank?

I am running Eon now... We will see what 2 laptops and a dual core can do....

Sure are catching alot of zzz's though.....

Give it time, after a day or two they'll reboot the server and the work units will flow in quick succession. Make sure you run something else as your primary project and let eOn pick up cpu cycles when it can.

I am running it a a service, so now there is no pesky windows that have to be open... Hmmm perfect for borging.... I may have to make a visit to my parents house..... :twisted:

I've moved my big eon account over here. I'd started in the past on a second one (amd_72cj5) for here. But it appears that eon is running better now again. and I'd like to add to the larger score to keep my total running up as it takes so long to get up there anyway. Unfortunately Graeme doesn't support points staying with teams like distributed.net does, without just leaving that specific user account with that team..... and thus then the owner can't keep up.. if you see where this is going. :) My apologies to FDC, however my points leaving aren't going to endager their placement in anything.

I run EoN on all computers and the results is strange:

My Intel PII has done 1169 tasks
My AMD 64 3200+ has done 681 tasks
My old AMD 1001 has dome 138 tasks

I started all tree agents the same day.
Intel PII runs Moneybee at the same time and the other Boinc. When I checked all clients it shows EoN Zzz too much on the both AMD´s.

Any as have noticed EoN runs better by Intel?

The FDC points went back to fdc. I'm using the amd_72cj5 account. And, started that in a little while ago, and I'm still geting a lot of the zzzz stuff. :( Seems like they are having a bad spate of that as the scores are low for the big boys that should be racking up more points. ?????


and in trying to get in to my account there, seems as I can't, so I hit the magic button for a new password, and haven't received any email yet. So looks like maybe they don't have anyone babysitting that puppy.

BTW - You can still run the gui client from the start up folder and tell it to hide on start.

I was referring to the other exe which is the small program that you install as a service which you can use to control other programs as though they were services. I can't find the reference, so it is all I can do to try and jog your memory.

It came up when we were chatting about the CPU/thread monitoring program.
Ha! I can't remember the name of that one either.

Beerknurd, open C:/Program/EON or where you now hav it and look after a file named Client as have 100 bytes. The icon is the same as all other as use DOS. Then click on it and watch what happen.

In EON folder you have both clients for service and not for service.
