Congratulations.

Which room is the computer room? Make sure the builders install LOTS of power points, maybe put it on its own circuit so you can always expand the farm.

And of course you need a generator in case the power goes out so you can keep crunching. ;)

The only problem is that in the office there's no phone jacks. So were going to have to have some dropped in after we move. But other than that it's really exciting and I can't wait to get out of this damn apartment.

Have them run Cat5 and install network plugs sametime they put in the phonejacks. You may not need now but it will be inplace when you need them. You can save money not having them back.
Then again there is wireless......

We haven't decided which room will be the office.... Until we can get phone jacks dropped in i'll have to run a long phone cord into the living room. That should look really classy...

BTW - Did you manage get the one next door for your GRID :?:

LOL - just kidding. Enjoy your space together.

I remember the all the fun of the weekend trips when we used to go out all over the place looking for things to decorate the way we liked.

Oops. Hope my wife doesn't read this....we spoke about repainting a couple of rooms recently, and I managed to deftly change the subject.
REMINDER TO SELF - Take foot out of mouth

Congrats my friend....

About the garage tho. We have a 2.5 car garage and I was luckey to have room for one in it for the first 3 months after the move. Hope you fair better.
