Wow... 1 Bitcoin these days is worth $26 (US) (saw it on http://preev.com/)... so those two new blocks getting 50 Bitcoins means $1300+

We should find a way to pay our website hosting and expenses on Bitcoins, I would definitely crunch some Bitcoins for AMD Users! :)

Can we organize Bitcoins@Home through BOINC?

That is what this project is doing for donations. :)

Yep, but it does not pay our bills. If we can organize a project that earns us money we could pay our hosting from it.

You don't need a project to crunch bitcoins, I think there is a client application publicly available to do that, anyone can do it.

The problem is finding a place that pays dollars for bitcoins (something like an online bank?), or places that take bitcoins as form of payment directly.

Looks like there are very few, and some of these sites don't exist anymore... they don't seem to be keeping the directory up-to-date. :-(

You should be able to buy at our affiliates with bitcoins in an ideal situation.
Crunch with success and get new hardware at Newegg or books at Amazon.
