Delays on Validation
We are working through some performance issues on the database. We have temporarily turned off validation due to this. We will update you as we get things back into normal operational order.

Hopefully it won't be too warm. I'm sure I can run the a/c for a week :)
I have 28 cores ready to burn.
ed - added to my calendar :)

Had to fire up the heating here for the first time this autumn. Sitting cosy behind my cores,
but I have to find a way to silence those coolers better...
then again, it just might be the mass of case fans...

@ dirk - get some Noctua fans, they're quieter

Using these at the moment: 120mm Coolermaster Sickleflows (green for intakes on AMD systems, blue for intel, red for exhausts)

They're rated at 19 dB(A) by Coolermaster, but I have the impression they are actually much noisier (and especially when mounted on the side covers of either my Corsair Carbide 200R or 300R).
Searching for comperative tests I've found out that they indeed are much noisier: up to 44.2 dB(A) at 12V.
On the bright side I can say that they do cool well, moving 81.1 cfm air at 12V.

Ouch too bright, too much bling. With over 20 computers in the one room and 6 or so fans per box it would be like a lighthouse with all those LEDs. Get some Noctuas. They move heaps of air and are very quiet and last for ages. Might cost a little more at purchase time but pay off when running 24/7.

In real world they are much less bright than on pictures of the manufacturer. And so far I've only two reds in the top of the 300R and one green in the bottom plus a red in top of the 200R!
Corsair already supplied me with two LED-less fans in each case, one front-intake and a rear-exhaust. You have to look real hard at the bottom fan to see the green and the top fans give a soft red glow up- and downward.
Even so my son thinks it's forever Xmas in my room, where only six of the 30+ computers are actually connected to the power grid. Personally I think my KVM-switch emits more green and my mouses emit more red light, perhaps the latter are earning money on the side after I go to sleep.....

The blue is waiting for my next casing, a Coolermaster HAF XB, which I will buy as soon as my i3 becomes an i7. Might do some more modding on the HAF XB, it's rather plain in black alone.
I think I'll have a 200mm red exhaust fan on top for starters...
