Founder of CHARMM won the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry!
Martin Karplus received the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, together with Michael Levitt and Arieh Warshel for "the development of multiscale models for complex chemical systems".Karplus is the father of CHARMM which is the code used in our Docking@Home project. This Nobel is an acknowledgment to the work done in the past 30 years with computational models and supercomputers in molecular dynamics! I saw this on the news yesterday and I knew there had to be some project associated to his software, I just didn't know which one, my best guess was Folding@Home but I see now I was wrong.

This is awesome news though, my congrats to Mr. Martin Karplus, all of his past and present team members, and of course Docking@Home for having picked CHARMM and put it out there in the world on their fantastic project. :)
