I have dual channel memory in my 64 system but it doesnt seem to be any faster than my "normal" memory in other machines.
How do i check to see if dual channel is enabled and / or working, from when i set my machine up i cannot remember seeing or setting anything to do with the memory.

I can't tell for sure but maybe in the BIOS settings? It's usually there where everything "low level" can be configured.

Yeh my BIOS also says dual enabled a line like:
DDR Memory Clock: 333MHz (Dual-Channel Enabled)
If yours doesn't then look at the slots that the memory is installed in. The memory chips have to be the same size and clock speed (PC2700-333MHz, PC3200-400MHz, etc). Also, they have to be in certain slots. Consult your motherboard manual to find out which slots you have to put the memory in.

they are in a set so at exactly the same time and also manufactured at the same time, with same speeds and latencies + materials.
they can go in either of the two slots on my board, it can take 2 sets maximum ( 4 slots) and they are colour coded which i have re-checked and is installed sucessfully.

1GHz fsb?
am I missing something?
mine is ddr200 so, 400MHz fsb.
with what is this cpu talking to at 1GHz?
Throught the system bus with 2000 Mhz. And The VIA K8T800 PRO /8237 Chipset supports I GHz Hyper Transport(tm).
Did you think it is impossible?

29 secs each is pretty quick.
my scores were once that good but the i let some slower machines process some and my times were ruined :(
