In predictor forum preferences, there is a place to,
show images as links,
hide avatars, and
hide signatures.

Should help with quick surfing if you are working on a problem
and don't want all the ya ya.

is a sig like that not 2 things though? - an image and text.

If the image is cached then its quick to load and text is small anyway so should be just as quick to load.

lmao, I had ??? in my head too. A quicky post eh? :)

From what I understand, as stats are always updated, if it is on a page 10 times, it is fetched 10 times.

Firewall - Yep.
Hackable - Yep
(OH! The crushing strain of trying not to mention the O/s )

Until I reboot into Linux.
Later.
Must use other O/s for work.

I gave grub a run yesterday. Then my download rate went high. I think one of my machines started a system update and hogged the bandwidth. Anyway grub went splat and no results loaded back up. I'll try it again later on.

Now...
I need a hub, and some more ram, and...
it never ends

ADSL / Cable router with 4 port switch: Linksys BEFSR41 ver4.0 approx AUD$85 works well. You could go wireless but they cost a few more $s.
