I am chrunching F@H and has done 10 WU's and get 853 in credits. I hope this has help our stats a little. I think newertheless yhat the stats isn't stand still. Right now i have a WU with 500 frames. It takes from 1 min 36 sec to 1 min 52 sec per frame.

Ototero!

Is you running F@H on an AMD or Intel? What speed has you?
I seems as this softwarwe use SSE :?: If I am looking in the read me log it stands:
-forceSSE flag added. Returns -forceasm to its former meaning of forcing
assembly generally, and takes on the function of forcing SSE specifically.*

When a new task has been downloaded and it shall begin to work the program is searshing after assembly optimisations.....

What will it say?

Just about to go to bed Lagu.

I'll check in the morning.

But I have all AMDs, 2 * 2400+, 1 * 2200+, 1 * 3000+ 64.

HoHoHo.
All said already...
Could I possibly interest you in--oh--about half a dozen earlier threads :P

It is the colour of carbon based life, you know.
Without chlorophyll we would not exist.

I'll put that one down as "thought of the day"
;)

AND Well done everyone. Another smashing day.
Keep them lean. Keep them mean. Keep it ... well you know the rest.

Since you guys are talking about folding@home you can check HERE (http://vspx27.stanford.edu/psummary.html) for how much a WU is worth. Do not pay any attention to how long it says it will take to complete a WU, its not even close to being correct, the best thing to do is see about how many points its worth and figure on your CPU speed after you finnish a few WU and calculate yourself.

P.S.
When i get another rig going ill (hopefully soon) set it up for folding@home 24/7 for you guys but my other 2 rigs i have to keep for MSI

P.P.S
all the 600 pointers are now gone.

Thanks TA, an interesting page.

Lagu, all my machines are SSE enabled for F@H :)

This was so mean... here we are busting ourselves to not get any reds on the stats and all of a sudden Team Ninja gets a new member coming from the **no-team** pool on chessbrain who increases them with 600 million nodes, and automatically get ahead of us...

Beerknurd

I was wondering what happened with that....

what is the name of the person to join them ??
looking in the stats they are not recorded or updated yet :
http://stats.free-dc.org/new/allmovement.php?proj=cb

some moves have been repeated so it could be a error or something, see bigben and jackndbox.

It doesn't look like a team-joining thing. The individual score for kitkat2003 went up 600M instantaneously. Likewise the individual score of cjus went down the same amount. cjus is the administrator of the CB project.

I don't know. I only saw that there was a 600 million nodes difference today both in Team Ninja and **noteam**, so I deducted it was a member of **noteam** that joined team ninja.

Maybe it is an error, lets see... but I trust more on the Chessbrains stats page than FreeDC's stats. More than once already I spotted inconsistencies between FreeDC's stats and Chessbrain's website stats. And I tend to trust Chessbrain's stats more as I believe they're the official ones.

thats what i thought when i checked to see if there was movement.

there was a similar adjustment that ocurred and then reversed on vaughan's score 2 days ago in the order of 999,303,102,949.
It is still visible in our team's CB score page on the Free-DC stats.
There is no note about an adjustment on the Free-DC CB forum, so expect that it is originating from the project itself.

we should be alright and stay above ninja though.

No, Nunja is now ahead of us. Just to realize the magnitude of that 600G (not M), that's worth the total activity of the project for a few months. At today's production difference between us & nunja, it will take us 300 days to regain the 600G.

kitkat has been a member of the Ninjas for a long time. I assume he asked cjus to associate his work done with that team name hence the massive spike in their stats. Come on guys, time to rally in ChessBrain. Its easy to run and doesn't take too many cpu cycles from our other targets / projects.

I don't know why my CB stats bounced around so much recently - just a stats glitch I guess. Maybe thats what happended to kitkat's stats too.

I turn it on sometimes but it just sits here doing nothing for hours and hours...

SlackPawn

Recently CB was silent for a week, but if you have spare ram there's no harm in leaving the CB clients open.

On that score thing, though, kitkat's individual score was raised by 600G, and as a result the ninja score also went up by that amount. If this sticks, it destroys any concept of a competition. If we rally and pass them in a month or two, then what?...another arbitrary boost for somebody?

According to the "bigger better faster" message, something is supposed to change on March 31, so we should be alert in case it's a new starting point.

i guess it is there "payback" for you joing us though.

SlackPawn

Hey, they fixed the stats!

It was a glitch after all. Usually those glitchs go away on the next update instead 2 or 3 days later.

When I joined there was no change in my score & every node was computed with AMD processors. A similar thing would be if cjus joined a team.

we are still behind according to bok though, you sya ont he update this will change.

slackpawn check your pm as well.
