Another MEGA Prime Found
On 28 March 2014 21:32:37 UTC, PrimeGrid’s Mega Prime Search, through PRPNet, found the Mega Prime: 51*2^3490971+1 (http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=117508)The prime is 1,050,889 digits long and enters Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database (http://primes.utm.edu/primes) ranked 69th overall.The discovery was made by Stefan Larsson (288larsson (http://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=58815)) of Sweden using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4930K CPU @ 3.40GHz with 16GB RAM running Microsoft Windows 8.1. This computer took just over 1 hour 13 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR.
