New MEGA prime found!
On 4 July 2014 21:42:34 UTC, PrimeGrid’s Mega Prime Search, through PRPNet, found the Mega Prime:35*2^3587843+1 (http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=118131)The prime is 1,080,050 digits long and enters Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database (http://primes.utm.edu/primes) ranked 69th overall.The discovery was made by Peter Tibbott (TroubledBunny (http://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=8931)) of the United Kingdom using an Intel i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz with 8GB RAM running Microsoft Windows 7 Professional. This computer took about 1 hour 24 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR.
