    June 1 to June 2 - Test
Team Russia wants to test something ("It's just a test of new BOINCStats challenge"), and they are using PrimeGrid to test it with. It is over and we are none the wiser as to exactly what has been tested, and why.

June 1 to June 8 - The June 2012 SIMAP scramble
The monthly Simap scramble! You may have read the interview I had with some of the contenders and members of the audience.
The next part is in the making! I'll be interviewing some odd ones out, and actual contending machines of mine.
We are currently #32 of the world and 17 of our members are active out of a total of 133 with results for this project.
The challenge ended all of a sudden, but not before bender10 had added another 85.000 credits to his account, thereby being our best scoring member at an overall 30rd place. Behind him in the top-100 trailed B Johansson (#56), NeoGen (#63), kle (#67) and Tamaster (#91). On the second page they were followed by Dirk Broer (#106), gamer007 and vaughan (nos.130 & 131), while yet one page further we found smok88 (#239) and BigMike (#295). On the fourth page Freddie, BobCat13 and Trent, who were at resp. #352, 354 and 360. On the fifth page we saw Ken429H at #441, Moops at #452 and Papagiorgio at #478. What that it? No, on the sixth page came Dr Iggy (#501), junior (#503), Nicola (#537) and Mike, our 19th member in this challenge, at #543. See you guys (& galls?) all next month!

June 1 to June 30 - WCG June Race 2012
It is about running time for WCG -our best score-, and you can work on it for the whole month!
We entered late, but we've risen through the ranks and find ourselves at #12 right now and it looks like no team will be able to pass us in the last hours. Next month there is a host of other WCG challenges.

June 8 to June 15 - test new Astropulse apps on GPU
Team Columbia has an interesting challenge, testing a new GPU app for Seti. This is for the SETI@Home Beta project.
We do quite good at this project: Before the challenge we held a 6th place world-wide and 4 of the 39 members with points were still active, some 10%. But there were six of us active in this challenge and they scored a 2nd place as a team. kle was our best individual member at #2, B Johansson ended as #6, NeoGen as #17, velociraptor01 was #23, MLaferriere #24 and Kevin Gallagher ended #27.

    June 8 to June 13 - EURO Crunch 2012, Stage 1: SETI@home
At the same starting date Crystal Dream begins with stage 1 of the Euro Crunch, doing the production version of Seti@home. Being on the cutting edge of progress, I use the Lunatics Ati GPU application here (suggestion of Chris, who is at this moment just below me, at #215 of the 3608), and it works like a dream.
As a team we only have a #140 word-wide position right now, even though 400 members have a Seti score, 48 of which are still active. That #140 position is not under threath, but with some effort we can regain the #138 position we held before the challenge!
Our top-scoring member was Wingless Wonder, who ended up as #32 with 131,207 credits more, followed by Dave Herrington at #143 and, a bit to my surprize, me at #187. This must be thanks to my impressive end spurt! Behind me elninyo222 at #193, Chris at #204, James Maddeaux at #284 and vaughan at #291. Another thirty of our members followed in the total of 3955 participants, bringing us a 11th place as team.

    June 14 to June 19 - EURO Crunch 2012, Stage 2: SAT@home
Stage 2 brings us SAT. As team we have a #14 position world-wide, but Vaughan and me were the only active members before the challenge. At the moment we have been joined by Stefan, Dr. Iggy, Paul AMD and James and we hold the 5th place, team-wise (we even started as #1, with Vaughan as #1 in the individual rankings. Then the Russian teams woke up...). Looking back a little bit further in time there is also activity by sentient_life and NeoGen, and all in all thirteen members had points for this project before the start of stage 2, James and Paul AMD being 14th and 15th now., but already at #13 and #10, respectively.
The 10th place was also the position where Vaughan ended this challenge, albeit in the total standings and so scoring our best result. I was our team's 2nd at #28, PaulAMD came up strong and ended 3rd at #46, james ended at #85, Stefan at #130 and Dr Iggy at #189. Our team result is such that we may move up in the next days to the #13 team position world-wide, who knows...

    June 20 to June 25 - EURO Crunch 2012, Stage 3: Einstein@home
Stage 3 is Einstein@Home, so ready your CUDA hardware and/or your HD 5xxx's or later, as there is an OpenCL application too.
Team wise there is a #48 world-wide position to defend, and 52 of our members are currently active, about 10% of those with a score for this project (521)
It was a very educational challenge, that proved that the OpenCL application is (much) more efficient when crunching more WUs at a time -at setting that you can change in 'Your Account' on the Einstein site-.
Our team champion, ded1o1, managed to obtain a 27th place out of 1406 participants, while I came 2nd -teamwise- with a 54th place. Brian was our third member, at #75. We also had nine members between 101 and 200: stefan (#119), gamer007 (#121), mitro (#125), AMD user (#134), vaughan (#140), Hautlle (#150), Gerald Peters (#178) and velociraptor01 (#185). Another four scored a position between #201 and 300: Steve Lux (#207), 16VJohn (#209), toro (#218) and B Johansson (#234). Next page brought us Ed (#329) and Co0O (#390). Ginger scored a 495th place, Robert Kramford became 533rd and tym 559th. Proteus could be found at the 601st place, while Matthew Cocuzzo became 650th. Lars Sarauw Hansen was 703rd, Ciceronian 781st. MiHost became 861st, pastasauce #868 and Donald Siegel #882. Papagiorgio was at #910 and Joergen Larsen at #931. snogglethorpe went into the three digits with a #1019, before Evil-Dragon, who ended at #1089. ausable1 ended up as #1175 and Colt1911M1, MLaferriere, Marcin and LeonardoXIV shared a 1227/1283th place together with many others. Was that it? NO! JoJoe1 ended between #1284 and #1405 as our last member, scoring 251 credits.

    June 26 to July 3 - EURO Crunch 2012, Stage 4: ClimatePrediction.net
Last stage of the Euro Crunch (As the financial crisis goes on: Will there still be a Euro left to crunch at all?) takes us into the month July, and does work for ClimatePrediction.net. As team we are #81 in the world, and of the 221 members with points for this project 20 are active at the moment, another case of 10%.
We've flown under the radar for a while, holding a steady 11th place, but now we've risen to the 10th place under the good guidance of Jeff, David Audcent and magicfox, our team top-three for this challenge. And remember: "Climate is what we expect, weather is what we get"
