October 2015 competitions

October again! My home town again celebrates the good outcome -for them- of the 1574 siege by the Spaniards.
Leftovers, still to be enjoyed: Herring with white bread and Hutspot! Oh, and we got a University for it too. Challenge-wise we begin with a leftover too:

October 22 to October 26 - CRUNCHATHLON WCG [MONTHLY RUN - RACE XI]
This monthly challenge, issued by the French team CRUNCHERS SANS FRONTIERES, takes place every month at varying dates for four days. All teams are welcome :)

ET can't phone home and I can't upload Seti WUs, we're both stuck....:(

We're doing fine at SAT, even though it's a one-man show at the moment...

Connectivity was restored, but I hardly made a dent in the score...>:(

We did fine at SAT, but it was just me and B Johansson..TSBT has trashed us and BOINC RUSSIA is over us too, as is Seti Germany...
If Vaughan could lend a hand -or two- to remain in the team's #1 position we might get Seti.Germany and perhaps BOINC RUSSIA as well. The Scotties have found the turbo button it seems...

1. Open up a terminal
2. Change to the directory where you downloaded and extracted the files (If not extracted yet, use tar xfvj DENIS@Home_Linux_x64.tar.bz2 after cd to the download directory)
   $ cd /home/$USER/Downloads
3. Open a root shell to be able to access the BOINC data directory
   $ sudo -s
4. Move the files to your BOINC data directory
   # mv DENIS@Home_Linux_x64/binary/* /var/lib/boinc-client/projects/denis.usj.es_denisathome/
5. Change owner of files to user and group boinc to enable access for BOINC
   # chown -R boinc:boinc /var/lib/boinc-client/projects/denis.usj.es_denisathome
6. Restart BOINC
   # /etc/init.d/boinc-client restart
7. Exit the shell
   # exit
   $ exit
