Errors

Is anyone else having a problem with their machines returning errors and their daily credits dropping?

I haven't been having that problem, but the website seems to be down and I'm getting a network error on the client.

I got an error on uploading workunits too yesterday, and today the site is down, so I guess the problem was probably spotted and is being fixed. Let's wait for the news...

Bad News:
The earthquake near Taiwan break some network line under the sea.

Can you visit pisegment now?

The connection is as slow as dial up. On the order of 10k connection speeds or less from Pennsylvania USA to pi segment. It is obtainable but really really slow! :(

From Portugal too, I can hardly see the site.
It is really bad luck... one great starting project, that was capable of withstanding a wave of hundreds of people joining.
The only thing capable of damaging it (hopefully only temporarily) had to be a cataclism of some sort!

Another news:
It needs about month to fix the cable completely.
The current connection is mostly established via satellite which has limited bandwidth.
