If what I understant it has a good chance to work, by attacking the interior proteins that dont change. Lets hope they can do it. i will have a beer for their success!

First thought was of I Am Legend, but then I realised in that they cure cancer with the flu, not curing the flu.

There is still the common cold that has been around forever and may remain so.
