Its not free, it never is from MS, its just a invitation to do their bug tracking for them for a 0 paycheck. If your time is not that important to you, or your time doesnt equate to money, then download away.
Hell, I've been beta testing their productional products for the better part of 20 years already, and I wasnt even trying to !! :icon_rolleyes:
Maybe it will help them sell more, maybe not. Like all things, there isn't any free lunch and at some point the rug will be pulled out. But it's a good PR move for them to at least get their product looked at by many. What's gonna happen to all those folks though once Aug09 rolls around and *poof* the beta no workie no more? What's the plan then Stan? Will they have a smooth reasonable way to handle that or will they just end up with a bunch of ticked off people.
