I didn't think two teams with the same name was possible, but look at this one in Ubero:

That's Odd.
MiHost is also one of our members. You'll find him entered in several of our projects. He has never signed onto the forum though, so perhaps he does not know that we already have a team at the top.
But it does look like the Ubero is allowing new Team Id's to be created by a new individual who has not already got a membership to a team, regardless of the name that is applied to that Team ID. Interesting.
I've emailed him, let's see what he says.
parhaps its worth e-mailing the admin or whatever and pointing this out, then the teams can be merged if by mistake or they can re-name if they want a separate team name. The admin or whoever will have the e-mail so could contact them.
Any update on the copycat site?
I tried e-mailing MiHost using the PayPal e-mail address he posts at Ubero but the e-mail bounced.
I have just now e-mailed the webmaster at Ubero. Let's hope he reads and responds with a fix. I note that the forums were taken off the Ubero site some months ago - I guess that was to stop people whingeing about "when will we do some new work etc etc."
Scott's reply:
Thanks for the catch, I renamed them "AMD Users #2" since you were
first. I did a similar fix for a couple of other copycats. I created a
DB constraint so you can't create a team with the same name as another team.
well thats better than them using our name.
