Hi all. I'm new to the BOINC system. I just learned about it today in school. Its seems like a great way to use your idling PC. Also, I'm doing the climate prediction project.
Welcome sgtsampay!
Indeed, the boinc (and non-boinc projects) are great ways of using those spare cycles.
Of course, many of us have a habbit of "making" spare cycles for these projects :)
Happy crunching!
welcome dude! and as Stewart says, we sometimes make spare cycles :icon_lol:
Nice to have you around sgtsampay.
Welcome sgtsampay!
Can you tell us how this came to be mentioned in school? During a course? Or casual discussion?
Glad to have you join us here at AMD Users sgtsampay. You'll enjoy crunching for the best team. :)

Thanks guys for the warm welcome... I can't wait to see how many cycles my pc will do with the new 45nm quad core that i will get for christmas,
