You need a pretty stout vid card for Doom 3, I had to do alot of tweaking to my 9700pro to get it working decent. The graphics are good, but the online play was disappointing, much like MOHAA. I played it the first 2 days i had it, now it sits and collects dust. I'll stick with BF1942 and Desert Combat.
Is it really worth a 35 minute download?????
If your computer can run it. I really wasn't that impressed. I dont like "dark" games. I like war games!

Sudden Strike II is getting old and cheap, but still fun to play, its 3rd person strategy though, and isnt for crap without the APRM "Hidden Stroke" realism addon. Doesnt take much of a machine to play, i'd say a 600 is pushing the low limit.Quote:

Not much of a bandwidth hog either, 56k works ok in smaller games with a decent ping...

Me neither, the only games I install are for the kids, Vice City, Postal 2, Grand Prix.
We all play Doom Ultimate accross the network. That's fun.
