i don't think they're "favoring" the i7s .. i think they're (possibly) just more efficient. dunno, tho.

i chose i7 for their crushingly good video encoding abilities ;_;

i WISH AMD had something competitive... when i got my 9550, it was right in line with Intel's offerings on a price-to-performance comparison (actually, slightly better, even). but now i want as fast as i can manage (with sane low end pricing) as i'm tired of waiting for encodes ;)

mine are at wcg where the project can run with a slight overclock on AMD processors

alot of mine are sitting idle right now, though not all by choice as it appears my quad on this race is not working and I don't know why yet.

By the way, Ramjet, if you look in the rear view mirror on the 2-core race, you should see a large dust and smoke cloud coming your way. Mitchell started with a slight delay but is catching up with everyone.

I believe he might have injected a large ammount of steroids on his machine to be running that fast. :icon_razz:

If he gets too close I'll have to engage the smoke screen and oil slick, I'm afraid I can't outrun him. :dontknow:

On the 4 core race you guys are doing real well, especially Plonk, Jason, and V-Rap. (who are doing to well at the moment)

I don't think I can get this 4core race by the end of the week the way things are going, but I'm dam sure gonna try. :icon_wink: You guys and busting me up so far.

On the 2 core race, I might just catch up without Oc'ing that extra 400 mhz I held in reserve.. :icon_wink:

only time, power, heat, and Oc'ing will tell. :icon_lol:
