Any way that we can not see the forums we don't have access to? I'm seeing moderator threads including who has been banned. I'd think that wouldn't be for the general public.
I like the improvements.
Edit: to fix a typo.
I'm 95% sure that should already be somewhere in the administration control panel, no need for more widgets. But alas I have no way to confirm that, I'm moderator, I can only see the moderator control panel. Vaughan and/or Beerknurd, could you guys look into it please? :)
Holy Crap... I took a little break and come back to this... Wow... Nice work Jeff!!!
Hey guys
Just noticed the RSS box and the news box are both showing empty now. Part of the renovations/bug fixings? :icon_wink:
Not that I am aware of.
The RSS box shows the same for me too - empty, but the News box is populated correctly.
They were ok when I went to work this morning.
Something to investigate further.
There are some strange issues going on... apparently if I log out I can see the news box with everything inside, but then I log in again and it shows empty.
The RSS box seems to have gone back to normal. By the way, did you guys notice that in the board stats box, the link to the newest member profile is still in the old format (and doesn't work)? This new CMS seems to use a different link to member profiles.
Neo - can you send me a screenshot of the blank news box? amdusers@gmail.com
Also, I've deleted the Recent Threads widget and I am using the widget Recent Posts that came with vBulletin. I don't think the fact that the post text comes before the title, author, date. It should be opposite. It's really bugging me!:icon_twisted:
I believe the RSS issue was just the RSS feed was down wherever it was hosted. i don't even know if that's a good RSS feed to have on here - let me know if you can think of something better.
I fixed the Board Stats box issue. I'm going to try to make a button for the stats today and work on adjusting the logo size.
Screenshots sent Jeff. :icon_wink:
And yup, I can confirm the link on the board stats now redirects and works.
For some reason the board stats on the main page and on the bottom of the forums page don't match... one says:
Threads: 5,989 Posts: 66,489 Members:1,281
and the other one:
Threads: 5,997 Posts: 66,426 Members:1,369
Can you tell which one is right? :icon_rolleyes:
EDIT: And we got a stats button now!! :icon_mrgreen:
