I hate to throw an old work horse in a race with a bunch of thoroughbreds, but here's a first gen. Opteron for the dual core race :icon_redface: 1059233

Rumours say that its kind of a recycling process for quad-cores that come out with a defect on one of the cores. They lock the defective core in someway and sell it as triple core.
Don't know if it's true, but as long as the remaining three cores work allright, and the price is right, I guess it's a good plan, and minimizes waste.
I'll drop in my 4200+ and a couple p4's :)
PcManiac, what are their IDs? :)
don't go too overboard, only need 6 cores total to run both races(2 on one, 4 on the other).
i want to sign up for quadcore, but i think i'll be slightly late. need to even install os afresh (unless there's another way i can force a new computer id), including win7 7100/RC1 (currently running Beta 1/7000).
you've got time, (11th) build away.
