AMD Users RACE - Finished!!

yeah, it's just short of 84F (29C) today. i don't think it's been that warm (by at least 5, if not 10F previous to this...). i guess we'll see how this goes!

Everybody better stock up before tomorrow. Outage at Rosetta. Unfortunately during this week's race. :(

Outage Notice: the project will be down for maintenance starting at around 11:00AM PST tomorrow the 20th. It may take a few hours. We will be replacing some memory for our database server and doing a full backup of the database.

Of all the time in the world, it HAD to be in this exact week we're having a race. :icon_mad:

Oh well... hopefully the downtime will be only a few hours as they say, and it won't affect the race.

No problem. I upped my cache from 1 day to 6 days before the race began, just in case...

Anyone understand how Rosetta gives out credit? I find it very mysterious.

I'm experimenting with longer WUs (I started with 1hr WUs, been increasing by an hour each day during the race) and noticed when I hit the 4 hours/WU, things went screwy.

I fail to see how doing an extra hour of work means I get less credit than a WU that took less time. :icon_mad:

The first race is over, and the second one is going to start in less than 12 hours :)

As I said in the contest specs, the top 5 participants of each race get points, and the sum of those points after the 4 races will determine the winner of each category.

There's plenty of points to conquer yet guys. :)

Guys... We're about 6 hours to start and I'm missing host IDs for the POEM race. :-(

due to the fact that the race starts in less than 6 hours(don´t no the exact timing now)
is it save to fill the buffer, and the wu´s after the beginning will count or should i wait??

I will have to start with or without our fellows. I'll leave placeholders for their hosts and collect the data of the people I can. As soon as I have their IDs I'll fill it in with their WUs.
