Well... if nobody objects until later tonight, then I'll start preparing the tables for two more extra readings on Saturday and Sunday.

Remember that Predictor's race will *not* be delayed because of this. Monday at 00:00 (Sunday night ;)) is the first base values reading for everyone.

I feel this next race is gonna be fiery! :twisted:

Is anyone already starting to queue up work for dumping Monday on Predictor? :P

Please don´t stop running the Competition. Your effort is much appriciated. Tell us what you not like.

In next project you claim your points much faster than in Leiden I guess.
And not forgot, even after the race you got points but it isn´t added to NeoGen´s stats but instead in Leiden Classic and these points is what you really have earned after all your tasks have been verifyed.

Just a question about the race. Is the race counting the work we actually do during the alotted time or does it include cached WU? If it includes cached WU then someone could have cached them for a week in advance giving them a huge advantage.

If someone stockpiles WUs that means they are missing out on the current weeks race.. so it all balances out.

And also if a person holds on to the workunits for too long, passing their deadline of return, it may not get credit for them when they're returned.

Race stats updated! Several people went up and down today on the regulars league. :)

I've just come back from a business trip and found that my broadband has been offline for 36hours. Couldn't get it restarted so I've had to register a support call.

Just goes to show that my strategy of 'get 'em, crunch 'em, get 'em out' doesn't work - as my systems have been sitting around being bored with nothing to do! :cry:

I’ve checked my computers this morning and discovered I’m validating my own work. First I ran both WU number 1139818 and now 1162850 on my AMD Athlon 1001 MHz.

That isn’t good because the other guy as have validated my WU claimed over 6 credits and my first run little over 4. If I get the same claimed credit for the work as is validating I got the lover of them I guess.

Are there too little of old AMD Athlons (from 2001)?

I’ve noticed other peoples from other teams load a lot of files as we do. Not strange all computers of the type I have is too busy. They have to validate here and there + run their own works as will be validated. That can be applying to all other types of computers too. Peoples are too busy and they won’t have time to deal with all our work units fast enough.

I have read there is only 45 Intel P III´s. A guy was asking why they not had sent out new work for validating. The answer from the moderator was because so little Intel P III they had sat it to a lower priority. I have an Intel P II and I have now get credits but only 2 have run the same WU. A third is still running it but it seems not to play any role.

One other question: How many of all other within our team as is running 7/24? Are they running over the day or a few times on the evening? If 40 % of all other run their computers 6 hours/day and then shout their computer down we will have to wait for validating.
