Help me please if you is able.....

Taken from Dr Watson because MoneyBee ended work and I had no clue what was wrong. Discovered this today: What happen when I start MoneyBee on my Intel C2D is I lost the Moneybee® concole:

Any as can explain what is wrong and how I can solve this if it is possible? The staff of that project is both blind and deaf. They never answered any E-mail. Perhaps the forum as is on Germany language can but I can very, very little of that language:(

Close all programs.

From a CMD prompt (DOS box) i.e. Start -> Run -> in the Open: box type in cmd and press Enter.

Then type in chkdsk c: /f then press Enter
(replace the c: with whatever hard disks or partitions you have.

If you get a warning message about the drive being locked that's OK just do what it says and a chkdsk will be performed when you re-start your computer.

Now re-start your computer and you should see chkdsk run a series of tests, usually three are run (sometimes more, I think it can be five) and the second one is quite slow (have a cup of coffee during this one :icon_wink: ) if you have a large capacity hard drive.

When chkdsk ends Windows will start normally. Test to see if MoneyBee behaves. If not, it may be damaged / corrupted. Try to uninstall it. Re-boot, download a fresh copy of MoneyBee and re-install.

No. I ran Chkdsk but MoneyBee failed yet. Now I will recover XP:(:icon_wink:

I have now tried”Company restore” without formatting the disc. Then I tried MoneyBee to no vain. Then I ran Company restore with fast formatting. It took over circa 40 minutes together.

After all software and XP finally was installed and I had to registered the OS again. I installed my antivirus programme as now seems work properly. It popped up a window as told me the virus definitions had been updated. That had never happen before.

After that I ran Windows Update and got huge 62 updates and patches at 57,6 MB. Among them was Internet Explorer 7.0 as I had avoided long. I had it on my AMD64 so little experience of it has I. It should take 42 minutes. All updates went fast except Explorer as I thought had got a hang up.

How dumb can one be?:icon_redface: I had a yellow flap on the task bar and I waited and waited and nothing happened. Then I clicked on it and a window appeared asking if I should say “yes” or “No” to 07. I had waste my time here sure 45 minutes.

At least I got Microsoft.NET Framework hotfix as before was impossible install.:icon_thumright:
The computer seems fresh and faster and the best of all:
MoneyBee works! Hipp, hipp hurra! :):):) So now I have MoneyBee on all my computers.

Any proposal what I will run as a single project on the Intel? D2OL or TSC or?:icon_wink:

The restore process of XP is the easy part. As you all know, all programs as we have on our computer and as have disappeared when we reformat the disc is the long part as takes hours installing all possible programs. I had to go to Office update but it went fast. Also configure Microsoft Office Outlook. The most annoying is when the computer must be rebooted again and again. Perhaps we not install all because we have discovered we can be without it. I for example has refused install Whatpulse.

Now I think I will run TSC for a while.:)
