    Smile September 2014 Competitions

Everybody back from holidays or vacation? Challenges are awaiting you!
    So far:

    September 09 to September 16 - Beal@Home first challenge
Team Colombia has organized a real treat: A Beal challenge. The first part of the challenge is getting work, the second part is uploading WUs...
And that's not Arnold Schwarzenegger, it is the very Mr. Beal himself, the one that will pay 1 million dollar to whom proves his conjecture.
The challenges faces a real problem as the servers are down since before the challenge. So far this challenges is a dud.

September 12 to September 19 - So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish
SETI.USA is saying goodbye, using Collatz, to a team member who seems to read a lot of Douglas Adams. Keep your towels ready and know that the answer is 42.
We started at 11, but have climbed to 7 since.

September 17 to September 24 - John Goodricke - 250 anniversary of the birth!
Astronomy.Ru Forum has another theSkyNet POGS challenge, the project that has more trophies than all other projects combined.

September 20 to September 24 - CRUNCHATHLON GPUGRID [MONTHLY RUN - RACE I]
For the GPU heavies: Crunchers sans frontieres has a GPUGrid challenge. Used to be -and AFAIK still is- nVidia Double Precision only....

    September 25 to September 30 - [H]ard|OCP TrackJack challenge
The name says it all: [H]ard|OCP organizes a challenge for Constellation@Home's TrackJack application.

My own main Collatz cannon suffers from OpenCL problems since the upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04, so I can only use it for Moo! at the moment.
My 2nd Ubuntu 14.04 box is running on two nVidia's without a problem. May build yet another Ubuntu 14.04 box, as the upgrade from Lubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 backfired

I have three Beal tasks still pending from June 17, 2014. Once they are complete I will have my next trigggl !!!

Challenge me, or correct me, but don't ask me to die quietly.
