Wow, I tripped a 20-amp breaker

I have two 20-amp circuits in the basement that serve only computers, and one of them tripped. It turns out that I had about 3/4 of the load on one line.

That's a lot of KW's being burned up on this frivolous persuit. Hmm... I'm not sure why I do this... but in lieu of figuring that out, I started them all back up and added 2 machines, a 2400+ and a A64 3400+

I had some problems a few months ago with a circuit breaker tripping too. It was the Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker or whatever electricians call the things (Is it Residual Current Device?). Anyhow, it was tripping as one of the case fans in a PC had worn out and the effort to turn the fan was drawing a huge load. After I replaced the fan - no more power outages!

PS. Thank heavens for UPSs. Who invented them? They deserve a medal.

I have newer had a circuit breaker tripping but, instead I have had a power failure when we had stroke of lighting in a transformer. The only who happened was the processor got down. When the circuit was back the computer did a restart self. Here i Sweden we use 240 wolt on the outside to the house via our head cable holding a 16 ampere delayed-action fuse. Into the house there is 240 wolt in the outage. I have 3x16 ampere fuses for machines who need a lot more amp than a electric light. For all other rooms I have 3x10 ampere fuses in the outage and for electric lights. It is a very stable construction. (3-fas).Spelling?? I have 10 contacts divide in 2 outage in one room and can add more without problems. However I understand 10 computers need much power.
The electricy isn't so cheap here. We most pay for taxes, moms for ex. Sweden is the country who have the highest tax in the world both for work and gas and electricity.
Of my work salary I must pay 33% brutto in tax. Can you beleive that?
