    SPRING CONTEST:
    ===============

NeoGen's update on the Spring Contest...
"Well, it's been exactly one month since I started the contest. One month ago by this time I had made the first data collections. This has been one fiery month I'll say...

    17-or-Bust
In a single month of work in 17-or-Bust we produced 107.8 T cEM's, which is around 16% of our team total value. We took over a year to reach our present 666.07 T cEM's, but at this months rate we'd have achieved this very same value in six and a half months. Keep it up gang! (Especially Chaz and Vaughan who have been on their own private race nearly since the beggining)

    DNet OGR25
Again, we produced alot in these mere 31 days of contest. 482,213 GNodes, which is around 18% of our grand total. At this rate we'd have achieved this same position in less than six months, and the Dnet site says we're working on this project for over 4 years? (Is this correct?)

    DNet RC5-72
We're getting better and better. In RC5-72 we produced a total of 43,416 Blocks, which is around 30% of our grand total of over 2 years of work on this project. Doing some simple math we can deduce that with 30% in one month, in 3 and a half months at this rate we'd have reached this same stage too.

    Find-a-Drug
We got a grand total value of 107,929,656 GFlops which is awesome, and it's smashing compared to the 5,890,344 GFlops that we produced in this month of contest. But I can't tell for how long we've been running it, it doesn't say on the stats page, so maybe the percentage is low (around 5%) because the project is a bit old already? Nevertheless I feel we pushed quite a bit here too this month.

    Folding@Home
Another great month for F@H this has been. 57,380 Points gained in a month, and around 15% of our grand total (387,518 Points) is quite a feat. Again I can't tell for how long we've been on it, but I bet it's at least a couple of years already.

    Grub
What can I say? I'll let the numbers speak by themselves: 20,246,668 URL's in one month, out of a total of 91,564,802 URL's made in over a year. Need I say more? (Oh yea, it's around 22%)

    WhatPulse
And to finish in big style, I'll present WhatPulse! Some people must have their fingertips on fire because we had 11,387,962 Keys submitted in the last 31 days. Come to think that we only have a grand total of 32,052,933 Keys, that means we produced a whooping 35% of the grand total just this month! I just wish I knew for how long are we in this project, but I do know that at this rate we'd have reached this position in about 3 months.

Summing it all, GREAT WORK EVERYONE!!!
Let's make the next month as productive as this first one, shall we?

In the meantime, a reminder to everyone participating. This has been one long contest, although it seems to me as it was just yesterday that I started it. We have entered in the last 30 days of contest, so for those who would like to make a rush or defend their positions, now is the time to plan your final moves.
    Have fun everyone!"

NeoGen will make the next updated once we hit two months of contest, that will be on May 20th. Look out for it in the Forum.

AMDave have sent this to me because I have told him I have some stuff to add (Wordststatistic).
I think if we all got this to our private address we could do a print out if we want. It is difficult to do when it is in the forum.

It is sometimes eisier to read with a beer in one hand and the papir in the other. It isn't worth to got beer on the keyboard.
