On 10 August 2017, 18:14:53 UTC, PrimeGrid’s PPS Mega Prime Search project found the Mega Prime:975*2^3419230+1The prime is 1,029,294 digits long and will enter Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database ranked 199th overall. The discovery was made by Eric Eskam (Doc No) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad Q6600 CPU @ 2.40GHz with 3GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Professional Edition. This computer took about 4 hours 47 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. Eric is a member of the Heinlein Fans team.The prime was verified on 10 August 2017, 18:58:22 UTC by Stephen Draycott (Stephen Draycott) of the United Kingdom using an Intel(R) Xeon(R) E5-2670v3 CPU @ 2.30GHz with 64GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Professional Edition.
