    A new possibility comes available later this year for Socket AM4: The Ryzen 9 3950X (105 Watt TDP) will have 16 cores and 32 threads.
    In theory this means that any AM4 system can be upgraded to a 16-core/32-thread cruncher, in practice this will need at least a BIOS upgrade and perhaps not all chipsets/mobo's may be able to offer all possibilities of the new CPUs. Check the CPU-support page of your mobo! -and watch those BIOS updates: what do they offer?
