    US users: Ryzen 2600 (6 core 12 thread) + 120GB SSD $189 (possibly today 5/16 only)

kind of a forgettable SSD, but better than having to shell out for a HDD! i was oh so close to pulling the trigger, too, but i just got a 2400G a couple of months ago.

don't forget to use the referal link that supports AMD Users: http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-5315790-10730068

    https://www.newegg.com/Product/Combo...=Combo.3823073

i'm not sure how search for the combo once on the website via the referal link, tho

at least if you're in the US, you can get a boot kit from AMD for free in case the pre-X470 mobo you get doesn't support Ryzen 2600/2700 yet

edit: response from reddit as to how to use the AMD Users Newegg referral

Just go to the site using the referral url, it will place a cookie for X days and anything you buy in that time will use it unless you follow another referral url which then replaces it. So just go there, then go back to this link and purchase.

I get "Sorry, the combo deal is no longer available", which is not an issue, as you implied that the SSD in question is forgettable.

Speaking about SSDs: since the new AM4 mobos all (?) feature PCIe 3.0 M.2 slots -even my Asrock A320M Pro4 has one- I'd like to point out that SSDs have the same revolution that HHDs once had
Your old IDE HDD was left standing still with the advent of the SATA3-600 SSD, but they in turn are left standing still by the newest M.2 SSDs.
Where the first M.2 generation merely changed to the new connector, the newest are really taking off:

if you're still interested, keep checking. between when it was posted and when i saw it 2 hours later, it was out and then available again. currently available

and yeah, SSDs are insane. i reduced boot time from 5 mins on platters (on a Windows install i still refuse to reinstall) down to 30 seconds (where i have control of the system), even on a system getting just half of the sequential performance (i7 P55 chipset)

edit: oh, just noticed you're in EU. i heard they had some +SSD combos for Ryzen over there, too

it'll still save you $30-50 on a HDD if you want a bare minimum to spin up 12 threads for DC!
