is it worth updating to new beta? i am still on whatever we use to run.

I'm running version 4.0 on my both computers and it works fine. It use ICMP and UDP so if you have a firewall you must allow ICMP-ping.
You can test it if you want.

Version 0.4 isn't beta, it's the new final version. But they say in the forums that it has some quirks, so a new beta version will be out soon.

i wish i could run dimes, but i tried everything to get it to work.

do agents under one name count as members?

When you will start the agent, it takes a while before you get anything on the graph.

In the message it shows:

"Reseived packet from null' Ignore this and let the agent ping to the server. When you have got any IP's on the graph, let it go 24 hour. Wasch the status page and see if you got any scores. I have done so the first time I run Dimes and got points.
