    On a side note: Radeon crunching under Linux was restored some time ago for most, if not all, distro's -My AM1 Athlons are busy since a few months and my A12-9800E works as well.
    You may have to upgrade the kernel to a 5.0 or higher version, and sometimes -as in the case of my A12-9800E that presently runs Mint Mate 19.3- use Oibaf's GPU drivers.
