    Promised pics

OK campers...Here is the link I promised to pics of my daughter wedding last weekend.

Haven't had the chance yet to do the captioning tho.

A brief explanation. They were married at Fort Boonesborough, KY in period (1775-1825) costume. They are both history recreationists and they met doing it. My daughter has worked on, and appeared in, several programs on the History Channel.
I was not asked to be in costume...neither was I asked to give her away. (No, that's OK, it only tears at your heart for a week or two)
My wife and the younger kids were able to enjoy it all tho. We were able to relax and be cool, (95 degree day) when the wedding party sweated in their outfits. Only drawback was the distance from home. Ever travel 5.5 hr one way with a 6 and an 8 Year old? It's an experience I'll tell you.
I also became an instant Granddad to 13 yo Jake and 10 yo Sam. They are loving the idea that they are older than their Youngest Aunt and Uncle, and Josh and Marissa think its "neat" to have nephews.

Fascinating pics DMMc. What a great way for the happy couple to remember "their" day in History.
