    Bleeding X2

    Anyone running X2? as yet.

trying to decide if i should wait for a drop in $$$s.

supplier here has 4200s at 659cdn L2 512, my thought is that the 4400 with 1024 L2 at 779cdn is a better call, however supplier dosn't have and are not sure when the 4400s will be in.

video work is the main purpose, also looking for a capture card other then ATI that supports vivo in X64

    thoughts suggestions anyone??

I am planning to wait and upgrade next Spring when they come out with the DDR2 motherboards. Then I will go dual core. I will hold out as long as I can since I will have to get a new PCI-E video card MB and CPU when I upgrade.

I'm waiting. There are lots of new processors coming out; Tomshardware has a write-up.

I'm waiting as well. I strongly suspect the dual core prices to drop by half in a year. Hopefully by that time, programs will be compiled to make use of dual cores.
