Yes, you can run it as a service. In some of the newer BOINC version installers, you can choose "Service" install. I can't confirm if it really works well as I have never tried it.

I´m just wondering, why Spinhenge@home does not appear on any project-listing? :?: It´s up and running for almost one month and our team is doing pretty well there.

Thanks gamer007, but that´s not what I meant. On the main-page, category BOINC are all the Projects listed, exept Spinhenge.
