    i am afraid i will struggle with that amount of defense and lose my fleet in the process . i am hoping with fodder jeff can hit it :D there is loads of resources which will pay for any losses and give profit.

    Take out the 11 ABMs with 11 IPMs ten send some more IPMs to take out his defences. After that collect the resources in a feeding frenzy.

    Just try to takr out the Gauss and Plasmas, they are the only things that can hurt you really. Beyond that, bombers and fodder should handle the missiles and lasers.

    i think i may have to research bombers. currently i got to BS and then stopped as currently they fill all my needs but no as my fleet is stronger i need somthing more powerful to remove defences.

    ** i meant destroyers but i am thinking now possibly i will just stick to BS and LF as they are cheap yet fast.

    I can confirm that bombers are slow. Take for example a battle fleet that includes LCS and BS it takes say 1hr 30 mins to reach the target. If you add a bomber it takes 2 hr 5 mins.

    Once you start sending them over long distances then they become noticably slow. However, if the target is reasonably near you they only add 10-20 mins onot the flight time which is worth it for less losses.

    They don't cope with long distances either. I wanted to send 6 from 381 to 79 and they don't have sufficient fuel capacity to cover the distance even at 10% speed.
