I have borged my first machine! :D
My sister's pc, that is a Celeron 2800 with 256Megs RAM.

But I wanted to ask something to you guys that are more into this.
Her computer runs on average 4 hours a day. I installed Grid.org on the machine and it took almost a week until it sent back the first wu. It disappointed me a bit, but I should have expected it... Grid.org's workunits take 20+ hours to crunch.

So, I was wondering... on a machine that runs only a few hours a day is it better to put it running projects with short workunits rather than long ones?
I guess the end result will be the same, with the difference that with short projects we get credits back quicker.

What do you think?
