Going public: Recently we have added strong compression options to the SIMAP application client, in order to minimize the size of workunits and results. Currently the new client is beeing tested, we still plan to make this project public this month.

Server installation: upgraded to recent BOINC version 5.2.6. The old database which was used for testing has been dropped, including all user accounts. To join the project please (re-)register when the project is public.

By the way, did you check out their message boards? It's phpbb forums, much better than the pre-deployed boinc boards. We can already register on them and post.
