October must have been one of the busiest months I've seen in a while on the Distributed Computing world.
Just for everyone to have an idea of how active October was, here's a short list of project/Team news, chronologically sorted, that I compiled from pieces taken from here and there...

- (1st) Folding@Home passed its fifth anniversary.
- (3rd) Predictor@Home released a new version of its CHARMm molecular modeling application for Windows, Linux and Mac, v4.21.
- (5th) Rosetta@Home upgraded its serverside software to support BOINC v5 clients.
- (5th) Riesel Sieve found its 26th prime, 417643*2^1800787-1.
- (6th) Rosetta@Home left beta stage and entered full production.
- (7th) PrimeGrid released a new version of its RSA application for Windows, v4.05.
- (7th) Einstein@Home upgraded its serverside software to support BOINC v5 clients.
- (7th) Majestic-12 released a new version of its client application, v1.1.0.
- (10th) The AMD Users Team newsletter is now an online publication instead of an email.
- (10th) ClimatePrediction.net released a new version of its HadSM3 application for MacOS X, v4.13.
- (11th) Grub was closed down. The Team finished in 12th out of 574 teams.
- (11th) Majestic-12 added support for teams.
- (12th) The AMD Users Team joined a new project, Majestic-12 Distributed Search Engine.
- (14th) Rosetta@Home announced that it has finished the prediction of another test protein.
- (15th) Majestic-12 released a new version of its client application, v1.1.1.
- (17th) Burp upgraded its serverside software to support BOINC v5 clients.
- (17th) Riesel Sieve was added to the Team's stats page.
- (17th) BOINC released a new version of its client application for Windows, v5.2.2.
- (18th) The AMD Users Team personal stats are now divided in two sections for easier viewing, Boinc and non-Boinc projects.
- (19th) Majestic-12 released a new version of its client application, v1.1.2.
- (19th) Majestic-12 has surpassed the 2,000,000,000 known URL's
- (19th) Seventeen-or-Bust found it's 9th prime, 4847 * 2^3321063 + 1.
- (19th) BOINC released a new version of its client application for Linux, v5.2.4.
- (21st) Rosetta@Home released a new version of its Rosetta application for Windows and Linux, v4.78 and also for Mac OS X, v4.77.
- (21st) ClimatePrediction.net released a new version of its application for Windows, v5.22, and for Linux, v5.24.
- (24th) LHC@Home upgraded its serverside software to support BOINC v5 clients.
- (26th) Majestic-12 released a new version of its client application, v1.1.3.
- (27th) BOINC released a new version of its client application for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, v5.2.5.
- (29th) Majestic-12 released a new version of its client application, v1.1.4.
- (30th) Burp released a new version of its Blender application for Linux, v4.20.
- (31st) BOINC released a new version of its client application for Mac OS X, v5.2.5.4, and for Windows and Linux, v5.2.6.
