Most items are priced better in Australia. Very few shops have X2 cpus. One place I visited was a 6 story hive of human activity and thousands of small shops and kiosks selling computer gear, camera, electronic games, etc. A shop there had an X2 3800 for the equivalent of $565 - I can get one in Sydney for $495, so no bargain. There are lots of guys selling pirate software and DVDs. They burn the CD or DVD for you while you wait!
I found a shop that specialised in cooling hardware - water collers, CPU hsfs, notebook coolers, graphics card coolers. Great fun to see eveything on display.
I was tempted to buy an ASUS A8N - SLI Premium m/b but on calculating the exchange rate it was no cheaper than back in Oz. Instead I settled for a 1 GB usb flash drive and a PSP with some games.
