    Hi

Yeah, I tried load their site but the server on the Rothberg Institue seems to be down for a while.

I can say so mych as this project crunch Malaria, Antrax, Sars and Smallpox for finding solutions. The WU consist of 20 steps takes from 22 - 55 minutes depending of the number of atoms and targets.

Your Opteron can do this mych faster i guess.

I am running Folding@home and World Community Grid at the same time. Nethier one of the programs is made to use both cores that my Opteron has. They will use only 50% of it if it is the only one running. That is what promted me to look for somthing else to run.I wish they would make more programs to make use of both cores.

My user name at Folding@home is AMDAthlonXPPower
and I am on team 64 (Team Rage3D) if any one is using Folding@home. Feel free to join me or see my stats.

    Hi

Can you not use 2 instanses for your core?

I know nothing of how a dual core will work.

WCG I don't know, but I know that if you have the Google toolbar on your browser it has some options or something to get it working in the background for Folding@Home

I am on another team with Folding at Home but any points I get with Word Community Grid Is going to AMD Users.
You can run 2 instanses but with folding@home I have not figured it out so I am running the other also.

I have just found out that if I use Boinc I can have it run 2 instanses with not problem. :P

I might just start using it with Predictor@home.

Boinc seems to be a better program for multi core computers!

I didn't know that Team AMDUsers was at the folding@ home site. I am going to start giving all my points to AMDUsers now.

We are spread out in practically all distributed computing projects that involve teams.
If you find a project in which we're not in (and that account creation is open... malariacontrol.net for example has accounts closed :? ) tell us and we'll get on it.

    EDIT:
And sometimes we even get on non-DC related things. Sometime ago we entered an online game called OGame, and lately some of us entered in a music/radio/stats website called last.fm. We got an AMD Users team there.
